RUAH
Meditations on the Breath of God

These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth when they were created in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth and every herb of the field before it grew for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the face of the earth and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:4

The Lord God said to the angels, I shall create a man from dust. When I have fashioned him and breathed of my spirit into him, then kneel down and make obeisance to him. The angels all knelt and did obeisance except Satan who was too proud for he was an unbeliever.
Koran 38:71

Behold, now I have opened my mouth my tongue hath spoken in my mouth. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart; and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly. The spirit of God hath made me and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Job 33:2

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Neither is worshipped with men’s hands as though he needed anything seeing that giveth to all life and breath and all things.
Acts 17:24
